4. What should I do if I use a new memory card?

5. Do I need to install any software?

No, You do not need to install any software, there is a video player installed in the memory card.

6. Can the Car DVR record the audio?

Yes, It can, and you can disable the audio function also.

7. Can I just record the front or the back video only?

This is a two cameras DVR, once it started, it records both front and back videos, but you can export the front or back video only.

8. How does the Car DVR get the power?

The power supply comes from the car cigarette port.

9. Why I can not use Kingmax SD memory card?

For compatibility, you'd better use Sandisk SD memory card.

12. If the car stops, how can I keep the car DVR continue recording?
When the car stops, the car DVR will stop recording. However, we do have an optional part called battery module which you can connect with your car battery, so that your car DVR keeps recording while the car stops.

13. Can I have external power adapter for the car DVR instead of using the power from lighter?
Yes. The car DVR takes DC 5V power, as long as you have the right input and connection, it will work. Like using the USB battery or the USB port from the car.

14. Can I play back the video by connecting the DVR to my computer directly?
No, you can playback the video by inserting the SD card into your computer. |

15. Can I onsite to see the field of view by connecting the car DVR with an external monitor?
No, there is no video output in this unit. You have to make a small video clip and playback to check the field of view.
