WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Limitation of Liability In no event shall Ameta be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.

Warranty for Products Ameta provides an one (1) year in depot warranty on the products purchased from Ameta unless otherwise stated, starting from the invoice date. The warranty does not extend beyond the original Buyer of products from Ameta. Ameta shall have no obligation to the Buyer with respect to providing any warranty on any products for which Ameta has not received full payment from the Buyer.

It is necessary to have RMA numbers for any item returning to Ameta. An RMA number is valid for only 10 days from the date issued. You may be directed to the manufacturer for warranty service. Returned products must be accompanied with original packing and all of the accessories. Improperly packed items will be rejected with no consideration. Ameta does not warrant any product that has been subject to improper use, abuse or physical damage. For products with operating system, such as Microsoft Windows, the warranty does not cover operating system crash caused by misuse or virus. Ameta does not warrant accessories and consumable products, such as transformer, battery, cable, wire, media, connector, etc.

"No Fault Found" returns will be subject to a $45 inspection and handling charge. Customers shall be responsible for shipping and handling fee for retuned products. All collect shipments will be refused.

Returns for Credit No cash refund. Returns within 15 days of purchase must be pre-authorized by contacting your Ameta Account Manager and are only acceptable when in "NEW", re-saleable condition with original boxes unmarked. A 20% restocking fee will be applied based on invoice price. No return after 15 days. Software is non-returnable.

Extended Warranty Ameta may provide with extended warranty on certain products, such as PC, DVR and Door Access Control systems. Customer can purchase the extended warranty at the rate: 20% of the selling price of the system for the second year, tax extra 30% of the selling price of the system for the third year, tax extra.

Ameta provides services for off warranty products at the rate: In Depot: $45 per hour, plus parts, shipping and tax. On Site: $75 per hour within business hour, plus parts, travel cost and tax . On Site after business hour or weekend: $150 per hour, plus parts, travel cost and tax Installation.

Ameta provides with set up or installation service for DVR and Door Access Control system. Service charge will be $75 per hour, plus travel cost and tax. This service includes one time free on site trouble shooting within 60 days after installation. A service contract is available and service charge starting from $149 per month for 2 hours maintenance, plus travel cost and tax.
